Kimmelot, the new media company founded by Jimmy Kimmel and Wheelhouse Group CEO Brent Montgomery, has inked a deal to make ITV America its exclusive producer of unscripted content.

The agreement will see ITV America taking over producing duties of Comedy Central’s just-announced Crank Yankers series, the first project from Kimmel and Montgomery’s Kimmelot banner. Comedy Central ordered 20 episodes of the 30-minute program, which features the infamously profane puppets pulling pranks on phones, social media, esport platforms and more. Jonathan Kimmel serves as showrunner and executive producer.

ITV America CEO David George, said: “We can’t wait to get moving with Jimmy, Scott Lonker and the whole Kimmelot team. ITV America is thrilled to be on board for Crank Yankers, and with a lot of other projects in the works, it’s just the beginning of what we hope to be a long, prank-filled relationship.”

Kimmel added: “I couldn’t be more pleased to partner with ITV America on our first Kimmelot series. David and Danielle [Bibbo, ITV America’s executive VP of business development and strategy], understand how crucial it is to expose a new generation of Americans to the art and beauty of crank calling.”
