Jo Lovell Joins Scripps Networks Interactive

NEW YORK: Scripps Networks Interactive has named Jo Lovell, a seasoned sales exec from A+E Networks, as its director of international program licensing and distribution for EMEA.

Lovell will work out of London under Hud Woodle, the VP of international program licensing and distribution for Scripps Networks International. She is charged with maintaining and developing relationships with key clients throughout EMEA, while maximizing the value of the company's catalogue of lifestyle programming. She is also expected to find new business opportunities in the region, execute sales strategies and optimize revenues across all program licensing agreements.

Before this appointment, Lovell was the senior director of content sales for EMEA at A+E Networks, where she supervised program licensing for the company's portfolio of channels, including A&E, HISTORY, Lifetime and Crime & Investigation. She has also served in senior sales executive positions at Carsey-Werner Distribution and Fremantle International Distribution.
