Janson Media Expands Grizzly Adams Productions Deal

LOVELAND/HARRINGTON PARK, July 3: Janson Media has reached
an exclusive deal to distribute Grizzly Adams Productions’ (GAP) catalogue of
family-friendly specials and series to the worldwide television market.

The new deal expands upon an existing relationship between
the two companies, with Janson Media adding domestic U.S. TV rights to the GAP
content included in its portfolio. Over the last few years, Janson has licensed
GAP programming to over 50 territories around the world.

The agreement encompasses existing product produced by GAP
between 1998 and 2007, as well as the company’s new production slate of four
feature films and eight documentary television specials scheduled for
production over the next 18 months. GAP also recently announced that it would
be doing 20 theatrical films during the next five years, with production to
start on its first feature in mid-July.

"Grizzly Adams' unique ability to produce high-quality
family friendly broadcast television specials, docudramas and made-for-TV
movies is unmatched among independent production companies," said Stephen
Janson of Janson Media. "Their docudrama specials on the Da Vinci Code,
9/11, and the Holy Shroud, are all great examples of the kind of relevant,
blue-chip original programming they produce—which is now finding new
audiences around the world, in markets from Rio de Janeiro to Riyadh, and from
Teheran to Tokyo."
