LONDON: The Foundation, part of RDF Media Group, has been commissioned to produce a second season of the kids’ series Skillicious with Fruit Shoot H20, which will air on CITV this summer.

The soft drink producer Britvic returns as partner on the show. Skillicious is hosted by Nigel Clarke, with new co-presenter Anna Williamson. The series is filmed in front of a live studio audience. It aims to showcase the coolest activities going on, from wake boarding to worm-charming to BMX racing, encouraging children to try something new. The second installment will retain all its usual segments, with some new additions in the mix, including the incorporation of "Master Classers," who will receive the ultimate master class from a celebrity instructor. Skillicious is part of a wider campaign from Britvic using the Robinsons Fruit Shoot brand to get kids active and learning new skills, which has been created by creative agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH).

Ged Allen, executive producer at The Foundation, said, “Skillicious with Fruit Shoot H20 is an exciting and ambitious show with something for everyone. Its fresh style will inspire kids to get involved and give new skills a go.”

Jamila Metran, executive producer at CITV, added, "We’re really excited to be working with The Foundation and Britvic in bringing Skillicious with Fruit Shoot H20 back for a second series. The show has been a great success for us on CITV and has really captured the imagination of our viewers."

Mark Boyd, creative director and head of content at BBH, commented, “Skillicious with Fruit Shoot H20 is that rare thing: content that works for viewers, broadcasters and the brand alike. Now running into its second series, we are rolling the property out abroad and have an ambitious merchandising plan. This is a strong content platform business."
