LONDON: CSI Sports has inked three carriage deals for its HD network Fight Sports in Indonesia, Finland and Papua New Guinea.

Indonesian pay-TV operator MNC Sky Vision picked up the sports channel, as did Finnish telco Elisa. The latter deal marks Fight Sports’ second carriage deal in Finland. Additionally, HiTRON in Papua New Guinea renewed its deal with CSI Sports for the channel.

“As we continue to grow Fight Sports globally and expand our exciting partnerships in Indonesia, Finland and Papua New Guinea, we remain focused on committing our programming investments towards live premium events and original content across all of the fight-related genres,” said CSI Sports’ co-CEOs, Richard and Craig Miele.

“CSI Sports has been a syndication partner of MNC for years, and with the growth in popularity of fight content in Indonesia we are confident that our subscribers will enjoy and benefit from our multi-platform launch of their Fight Sports network,” said Dhini W. Prayogo, MNC SkyVision’s chief sales, marketing and content officer.

“We are excited to announce the renewal of the high-caliber Fight Sports channel for another full term in Papua New Guinea,” said Anne Ames, HiTRON’s operations manager. “As an action-packed channel showcasing a range of multi-disciplined, fight-related sports programming, we believe Fight Sports is ideal for many of our mature, discerning viewers.”
