Innocent Delivers for ProSieben

MUNICH, April 24: The new
crime drama Innocent,
represented worldwide by SevenOne International, has become the most successful
German series premiere for ProSieben since 2005.

Launched last night at
8:15 p.m., the series scored a 14.8-percent share among adults 14 to 49, higher
than the channel’s average share in 2008 of 11.9 percent. The show, which
peaked at 3.26 million viewers, sees a young and ambitious attorney working to
exonerate people falsely accused and imprisoned for crimes they did not commit.
With its average 2.75 million viewers, Innocent out-rated the Champions League semi-finals as well
as the crime drama Criminal Intent,
according to SevenOne.

The show is produced by
teamWorx (The Hunt for Troy, Tornado) and stars Alexandra Neldel, known for her lead
role in the Sat.1 hit telenovela Verliebt in Berlin.
