Industry Vets Open Make Good Finance & Operational Solutions Firm

Industry veterans Jim Sternberg, Meredith Fowler and Tinu Sinha have opened Make Good, a Canadian firm blending production finance leadership, business affairs problem-solving and operational acumen.

Sternberg is a leader in Canadian production finance, a completion guarantor and founder of Complete Production Solutions. Fowler leverages over a decade of experience steering production for global brands from Disney to Netflix, bringing expertise from producer and business affairs perspectives. Sinha, a veteran of Entertainment One and an award-winning producer, has expertise in tax credits, bank financing, licensing and Canada’s emerging talent sector.

Two projects that Make Good was involved with are premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, now underway. This includes Matt Johnson’s Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie and Bretten Hannam’s Sk+te’kmujue’katik (At the Place of Ghosts).

“Make Good is founded on continuity, innovation and a genuine partnership approach,” Sternberg said. “We help clients navigate, strategize and execute so that the art always leads and the business always delivers.”

Fowler commented, “With so many moving parts in production, having a guiding hand who’s seen and solved it all can make the difference between good intentions and great outcomes.”

“Every production faces a maze of tax credits, financing and compliance hurdles, and our role is to simplify the complex, so producers can focus on the creative work that audiences connect with,” Sinha added.
