MONTREAL: Principal photography is under way on the new Incendo thriller Stealing Paradise, starring Rachel Leigh Cook and Graham Abbey.

Stealing Paradise is to air in Canada in 2011 on The Movie Network, Movie Central and Super Écran. The story follows a brilliant engineer whose breakthrough design is stolen and patented by a colleague. When the colleague is found murdered, she becomes the prime suspect.

In addition to Stealing Paradise, this year Incendo has produced Wandering Eye starring Amanda Righetti (The Mentalist); Dead Lines with Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager); No Surrender with Mena Suvari (American Beauty); and Exposed starring Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (Prison Break).

“We are extremely proud of our 2010 season and everything we’ve accomplished over the past nine years,” said Jean Bureau, who will produce the film for Incendo. “Despite difficult economic times, we have been able to produce four to five television movies a year since 2001. While keeping the outstanding production crews in Montreal very busy, Incendo has developed a high-profile image that has been recognized internationally for several years.”

“The Incendo Thriller brand has enjoyed tremendous success worldwide,” added Stephen Greenberg, an executive producer on the project. “The Canadian, U.S. and international ratings of our movies are clear indicators of our audiences’ appreciation of our films. We are diligently preparing our slate for 2011.”
