Imagina International Sales Launches New Film Division

MADRID, January 21: Imagina International
Sales (ISS), the distribution arm of Spain’s IMAGINA Group, has created a new
sales division dedicated to recently released films, to be helmed by former
Sogepaq executive Beatriz Setuain.

Setuain will head up the new
division, which will be responsible for the international distribution of films
from within the IMAGINA Group and from independent producers. Prior to joining
Imagina, Setuain served as international sales executive for distributor
Sogepaq, part of the Sogecable Group.

With this new division, Imagina is
looking to reach new agreements and expand its product catalogue. The launch of
this new division comes one year after the creation of ISS, whose catalogue
currently includes more than 130 productions and almost 3,000 programming
hours. In 2007, ISS sold television and video productions into more than 65
countries around the world.

The IMAGINA Group is the result of
a merger of Spanish audiovisual producers Grupo Árbol and Mediapro.
