ID Continues European Rollout

LONDON: Discovery Networks EMEA is expanding the reach of its Investigation Discovery (ID) channel in Europe, with launches in Poland, Romania, Hungary and Greece.

The network, which made its international debut in the U.K. in January, targets adults 25 to 54 with a lineup of crime and investigative programming. Show such as Call 911, which features real calls made to emergency services operators, and The Shift, following a team of elite homicide detectives, will air on ID. This is the seventh Discovery brand to launch in Romania and Hungary, and the eighth in Poland.

Arthur Bastings, the executive VP and managing director for Discovery Networks EMEA, said: "ID Investigation Discovery has become a key part of the Discovery Networks portfolio, enabling us to extend our diverse offering of quality channels and attract new viewers. This, alongside five years of proven audience growth across our brands, stands as testament to the strength of our product."
