Ice Road Truckers Continues Strong Sales

NEW YORK: AETN International has signed up several new international broadcasters for its hit factual series Ice Road Truckers, among them, M6 in France.

Season one was also licensed to TV3 in New Zealand and RTL Klub in Hungary. Season two, meanwhile, went to RTL4, RTL5, RTL6, RTL7 and RTL8 for the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Ice Road Truckers made history as the highest-rated series to air on History in the U.K. and the U.S. It also airs on History in Spain and Portugal, Germany, Israel, Scandinavia, Benelux, Central Europe, Greece, Turkey, Africa, Latin America, Japan and Southeast Asia. The series, which follows a group of truck drivers as they haul supplies to remote outposts across the frozen arctic circle, has also aired on FIVE in the U.K., Fox 8 and Network Ten in Australia, History Television in Canada, AFRTS in the U.S., RTL Televizija in Croatia, TV2  in Denmark, TV4 in Sweden, MTV3 and Subtv in Finland, W9 in France, RTL in Germany, TV3 in Ireland, Viasat in Estonia and Lithuania and V4 in Norway.
