alumnus Miranda

During the series, kids are directed to a localized website to post their

Nickelodeon International (including Asia, Australia and the U.K.)

announced its launch of a U.S. consumer-products program in June. Licensees

An iCarly line of products is available exclusively in The
Limited Too/Justice stores, consisting of apparel, stationery and electronics.

There is also a CD of
music from and inspired by the show, featuring popular artists, including
Natasha Bedingfield and Avril Lavigne, as well as songs by the show’s star,
Miranda Cosgrove.

STRATEGY FOR ROLLOUT: In the U.S., iCarly achieved an average 13.4-percent share among all
children’s channels in first two weeks of broadcast and currently ranks as the
number one show across all kids’ channels in cable and satellite homes in the
year to date. NVCP has initiated the merchandising campaign in the U.S. and an
international rollout is slated for 2009, building on the show’s global
success. In Mexico and Chile, iCarly was number one among kids 4-11 and 12-17 while in Argentina the show
was the most watched among pay-TV viewers ages 12-17. In Brazil, the series
ranks among the top five pay-TV shows for kids aged 4-11 and 12-17. In the U.K.
iCarly is the highest rating
new series for kids aged 4 to 15 years old this year.

“We are giving kids more
and more ways to connect the dots of their linear and digital entertainment
experiences through Nickelodeon, from the social networking of Nicktropolis, to
the ability to mash up our content on TurboNick, to allowing them to send and
control their own user-generated content on ME:TV,” said Cyma Zarghami, the
president of Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids and Family Group. “iCarly brings it all together and reflects what real kids
are doing today. The show could be in no better hands than creator Dan
Schneider, who has delivered hit after hit for us.”
