HSM2 Comes to DVD and Blu-ray

BURBANK, August 27: An extended edition of High School
Musical 2, the most watched cable telecast
of all time, will be released by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment on DVD
and Blu-ray HD on December 11 with behind-the-scenes extras and special bonus
features.

The extended edition will feature a never-before-seen
musical performance, available only on DVD and Blu-ray High-Def, where
audiences can finally see a musical number that was rehearsed in the film but
never performed. The scene features Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) and Troy (Zac
Efron) performing at the Midsummer’s Night’s Talent Show.

Additional exclusive-to-DVD and Blu-ray Disc bonus features
include sing-alongs with on-screen lyrics, a highly interactive karaoke
feature, a rehearsal cam, bloopers, music videos and much more. This is the
first Disney Channel original movie to be released on Blu-ray.
