HSM Reaches 25 Million Plus Viewers Across Europe

LONDON, November 6: By the end of October 2006, the Disney
Channel original movie High School Musical
had reached more than 25 million unique viewers across Europe, based on its
broadcast on the Disney Channels, as well as on ProSieben, M6 and Rai Due.

During its premiere, it ranked number one out of all cable
and satellite channels among kids’ in seven countries: U.K., Germany, Spain,
Italy, Norway, Denmark and Sweden. It also out-performed all terrestrial and
cable/satellite channels amongst kids’ viewers in the U.K., Spain, Italy and
Norway.

The movie has now been shown on Disney Channel in over 21
million homes across Europe and will broadcast in over 100 million homes when
it launches on all free-TV platforms. Meanwhile the soundtrack has already
achieved platinum status in the U.K. and gold in France and Italy.

It also registered as the highest Disney Channel original
movie premiere among kids in the U.K., Spain, Italy, Norway and Sweden, and it
registered as the highest ever audience for a movie transmission on Disney
Channel this year in the U.K., Italy, Norway and Spain.
