Home and Away Picked Up for Two More Seasons in NZ

LONDON: Endemol Worldwide Distribution has sold an additional two seasons of the hit Australian drama series Home and Away to New Zealand’s TV3.

The show, produced by Seven Network in Australia, centers on the community of the fictitious beachside town of Summer Bay. The residents are blessed with a great climate and miles of beautiful beaches, and their lives are filled with pranks, love triangles and family feuds. Home and Away consistently ranks in the ten top programs on air Monday to Friday in Australia. The series has also been acquired by, among others, Five in the U.K., AB Droits in France, RTE in Ireland, VTM in Belgium, TV2 in Norway, Hot 3 in Israel and TNT for Cyprus and Turkey.
