HISTORY HD Expands Nordic Presence

NEW YORK/LONDON: AETN UK has secured carriage for HISTORY HD on the Welho platform in Finland, beginning September 1.

The launch on Welho marks the first cable distribution deal for HISTORY HD in Finland. The high-definition channel will offer a separate schedule from the standard-definition service, which is currently carried by Welho. Throughout the Nordic Countries, HISTORY and HISTORY HD are also available via Canal Digital, ComHem, Telia, Sonera and Skjarinn among others.
