Henson Signs New Deals for Dinosaur Train

LOS ANGELES: The Jim Henson Company has secured new broadcast deals with Nickelodeon in Australia and Al Jazeera in the Middle East for the CGI-animated series Dinosaur Train, in addition to signing up Selecta Vision as the home entertainment, TV and merchandising partner on the show in Spain.

This follows on recent agreements with TVO and TFO in Canada, Knowledge in British Columbia and NRK in Norway. The show combines preschoolers fascination with dinosaurs and trains. The new series premiered September 5 in the U.S. on PBS Kids. The Jim Henson Company will be offering 40 half-hour episodes at MIPCOM.
