HBO Inks Development Deal with Charles S. Dutton

LOS ANGELES, October 10:
Emmy-winning actor and director Charles S. Dutton has inked a development deal
with HBO that covers series, movies and mini-series.

Announcing the alliance,
Michael Lombardo, the president of the Programming Group and West Coast
Operations at the premium pay-TV network, noted, “HBO has enjoyed a long and
fruitful partnership with ‘Roc’ Dutton, and we are looking forward to teaming
up with him on other exciting ventures.”

Dutton’s HBO credits
include acting roles on the hit series Oz and The Sopranos. He
made his directorial debut in 1997 with the HBO original movie First Time
Felon
, and went on to direct the
acclaimed HBO mini-series The Corner, for which he received an Emmy for Best Director.
