Halbout Promoted at NVCP

LONDON/NEW YORK, April 19:
Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) International, a division of
Viacom, has promoted Gregoire Halbout to the newly created position of VP of
home video and publishing.

The promotion signals
efforts by NVCP to further advance its rapidly expanding international
publishing business. Based in London, Halbout will report dually to Tanya
Haider, the SVP of NVCP in New York, and Jean Philippe Randisi, the VP and
managing director of NVCP EMEA, in London. In the newly created position,
Halbout, who was promoted from his position as media products director at NVCP,
will now manage home video and publishing (books, magazines and part works)
licensing in all international territories, excluding the U.S. In addition he
will be responsible for managing Nickelodeon's home video business internationally
in partnership with Paramount Home Entertainment International. Halbout will
collaborate with MTV Networks’ global channel groups and various lines of
business, regions and territories to create a cohesive and aligned franchise
offering for potential partners. Additionally, Halbout’s new responsibilities
also include the development of non-U.S. publishing content.
