GSN Acquires Endemol Game Show

SANTA MONICA, May 22: GSN has acquired the rights to Show
Me the Money
, the Endemol USA game show
produced for ABC and distributed in the U.S. by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.

The agreement for the show, which is hosted by William
Shatner, includes seven episodes, two of which never aired during the initial
run on ABC in 2006. The show launches June 12, airing Tuesdays at 8 p.m. The
never-before-seen episodes will make their television premiere on GSN on July
17 and July 24.

"Show Me the Money
is the perfect marriage of a game show and a variety show," said Jamie
Roberts, the senior VP of programming at GSN. "We think our viewers will
enjoy this winning combination."

It features contestants answering a series of trivia
questions. After each answer, contestants choose from among thirteen beautiful
dancers on stage, all of which are holding a scroll with a dollar amount
printed on it. If the contestant's
answer to the question is correct, the recently revealed dollar amount is added
to their pot. Conversely, if they answer incorrectly, the dollar amount is
subtracted from their winnings.
