Golf Channel Launching in HD in Taiwan

LAS VEGAS: Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) has appointed Transmedia International to launch Golf Channel in Taiwan this month.

Transmedia will operate the 24-hour HD channel, which offers coverage and highlights of golf’s top tournaments. Golf Channel in Taiwan will showcase the PGA Tour, Champions Tour and Presidents Cup, as well as original series with Chinese subtitles, including Golf Central, Live From, The Big Break, The Haney Project, The Golf Fix, Playing Lessons from The Pros and Golf With Style.
