ATLANTA: Later this year, TBS plans to premiere a new original comedy, Glory Daze, set on a U.S. college campus in the 1980s.

The cast for the one-hour series—which has received an eight episode order—includes Kelly Blatz (Aaron Stone), Callard Harris (Sons of Anarchy), Matt Bush (High School), Drew Seeley (Freshman Father), Hartley Sawyer (Killian), Julianna Guill (My Alibi) and Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live). Created by Walt Becker (Wild Hogs) and Michael LeSieur (You, Me and Dupree), the show is slated to premiere on TBS in late 2010. It focuses on a group of friends in Wisconsin in the 1980s, navigating college life.

Glory Daze is a sharply written, laugh-out-loud comedy with a talented ensemble cast, including comic veteran Tim Meadows,” said Michael Wright, executive VP and head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “The time is right for this feel-good, funny and fresh take on college life in the ‘80s.”
