Globo Preps New Novela Co-Pro

SÃO PAULO: Filming is under way on Laços de Sangue, a new telenovela co-produced by TV Globo and SIC.

The telenovela follows the story of two sisters who are separated at childhood and become enemies as adults. Lead actors include Diana Chaves, who plays Inês; Diogo Morgado, who will play João; and Joana Santos, who will be Diana. TV Globo is supporting the Portuguese production with its Brazilian producers, set designers and across.

The novela is scheduled to launch in Portugal on September 13 in prime time.
