Global TV Renews From the Ground Up

TORONTO, June 26: Global Television has renewed the original
prime-time series From the Ground up With Debbie Travis for a second season.

The show, which will begin production on the new season in
September, follows television personality Travis and her 12 “protégés” as they
build a mansion—as the title implies—from the ground up. The first
season finale, which aired on Sunday, sends one of the protégés home with a
C$250,000 cash reward. "I'm absolutely thrilled to be working on season
two of From The Ground Up with
Global," said Travis. "This Sunday's finale will leave Canada wanting
more, and I can't wait to put the next crop of young Canadians to the
test." The second season of From the Ground Up With Debbie
Travis
will join Global Television’s 2007
mid-season schedule.

The series is a production of RTR Media, a partnership of
Travis, Hans Rosenstein and Kit Redmond. It focuses on the production of
factual fare.
