Gina Brogi Assumes New Post at 20th Century Fox TV Distribution

LOS ANGELES: Gina Brogi has been promoted to president of global distribution at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.

Brogi will oversee the worldwide distribution of Twentieth Century Fox television series and feature films across all media and platforms, including pay, basic and free TV, as well as SVOD. In addition, Brogi will be responsible for the licensing of all Twentieth Century Fox feature films to U.S. networks. She has been with the studio since 1999, most recently as executive VP of worldwide pay TV and SVOD.

A new organizational structure has been put in place for the division. The new structure will unify the licensing efforts throughout all television distribution media and platforms, as well as align the sales organization around three major regions: the Americas, EMEA and the Asia Pacific. Three longtime senior TCFTVD executives have been promoted to manage the business and sales force in each. Evan Scheffel has been promoted to executive VP for the Americas television distribution. Kristen Finney has been elevated to executive VP for EMEA television distribution. Richard Samuels has been promoted to executive VP for the Asia Pacific television distribution. Each will report directly to Brogi and oversee television distribution strategy across their respective regions.

“TCFTVD has been my home for over 17 years and I’m both humbled and excited to begin this next chapter with Mark as we move our organization forward in this ever-evolving global television distribution landscape,” said Brogi. “As part of our long-term planning and with the progression of our industry in mind, we have decided to restructure our organization to better capitalize on our business. We are fortunate to have an incredibly strong executive team. I’m very proud and appreciative to have Evan, Kristen and Richard’s talent and experience as we collaborate on taking our division to the next level.”

“Gina is one of the most highly-respected executives in the industry and we are proud to see her step into this important new role,” said Mark Kaner, the president of the division. “With her extensive strategic experience and extraordinary sales and leadership skills, Gina will help guide our global teams to ensure our continued success.”
