Generate Stocks Management Division

LOS ANGELES: Indie producer and management studio Generate has hired Chris Pollack and Will Lowery to join its growing management division and diversify its client base.

Pollack joins Generate from running his own independent management firm. He has worked with a roster of senior television writers, reality producers and feature directors from network series such as ABC’s Lost and VH1 celeb-reality hits Flavor of Love and Rock of Love. Previously, Pollack spent five years in original programming at Showtime.

Lowery, a creative executive and literary manager at Underground Films, managed a list of filmmakers and screenwriters behind a series of successful genre projects, including the Saw franchise, The Masters of Horror series, House on Haunted Hill for Dark Castle, Last House on the Left for New Line and Like Minds for The Weinstein Company.

"Chris and Will are great additions to our management division, which has expanded to eight managers and an office in New York in three years," said Jordan Levin, the CEO of Generate.  "Chris and Will’s combined experience representing writers and directors further diversifies our talent roster of screenwriters, producers, filmmakers, actors and comedians, while their understanding of production and working with brands make them natural fits with our model of developing cross-platform entertainment properties."

Generate Management operates in both Los Angeles and New York and is led by Kara Welker, Dave Rath and Jared Hoffman. The team also includes Andy Corren, the recently promoted VP of talent, and managers Anne Hong and Mitchell Parness.
