FX Canada Takes On UFC Reality Series

TORONTO: FX Canada is adding The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) to the network’s Friday night lineup this spring, picking up seasons 15 and 16 of the reality series.

The reality fighting series will premiere on FX Canada on March 9. Each hour-long episode features two fighters training for the big fight, facing off in an elimination bout, with the winner moving on to the next round. The championship will air in episode 13 in a three-hour finale.

“The Ultimate Fighter is another example of how we are continuously capitalizing on opportunities to build our bold programming slate and offer Canadians the best in world-class content on FX Canada,” said Scott Moore, the president of broadcasting at Rogers Media. “The addition of The Ultimate Fighter series to our stellar FX Canada lineup provides the loyal fans of mixed martial arts a chance to view and participate in the evolution of the series each season.”
