MIAMI: The Telemundo Internacional production Hidden Passion is to launch in Ghana on Viasat on October 12 in a 3 p.m. time slot.

The story has been sold in more than five countries in Africa, include Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and is soon to debut in Nigeria. The novela, which stars Danna Garcia and Mario Cimarro, tells of the Reyes brothers, who are honest and kind-hearted. When they are betrayed, the three brothers launch a plan to seduce the daughters of a successful farmer to seek revenge, but wind up falling in love with them instead.

Karina Etchison, the VP of sales in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, commented: “Hidden Passion promises to achieve excellent results in Ghana, as it possesses the necessary elements for a production to be successful in this region—romance and high production values. Although cultures and traditions vary from country to country in Africa, the audience shares a common passion for the telenovela genre, which is reflected by the ever-growing demand.”
