venture between Warner Home Video and China Audio & Video Publishing House,
has struck a home entertainment deal with FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) to
launch Impossible Pictures’ 6×1-hour series Prehistoric Park on DVD in China.

Prehistoric Park is
currently airing on CCTV in China. CAV Warner plans to roll out the series as
six single-episode DVDs with a Prehistoric Park collectible case. A six-episode box set will also be
available.

A number of home entertainment deals have already been inked
for Prehistoric Park in Asia with SPO
Inc. in Japan; Kenny & Co in Korea; Times International in Taiwan; Archer
Entertainment for Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia; and United Home
Entertainment for Thailand. The series has already been licensed to 52
broadcasters worldwide, and FME has granted DVD licenses to more than 30
territories along with a range of licensing deals covering books, board games,
puzzles and greeting cards.

Prehistoric Park is
fronted by natural historian Nigel Marven and embraces the latest CGI
technology as he travels back in time to rescue some of the most amazing
animals to have ever roamed the earth.

Amrita Sindhu, the VP of home entertainment in Asia at FME,
commented: “In such an important market it is integral to have the weight of a
partner like Warner’s behind this important brand, and we are flattered that
they recognize the strength of our content and how it complements their own.”
