FremantleMedia Staffs Up Home Entertainment, Archive Sales Business

LONDON, August 17: FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has
announced several new appointments as it looks to boost its home entertainment and archive sales
businesses.

David Bealing has been appointed to the newly created
position of commercial director, home entertainment. In this role, Bealing will
be responsible for devising and implementing the division’s strategic approach
to sales and marketing and for growing the business. He will also provide
strategic support to Fremantle Home Entertainment’s third party labels as well
as the company’s own label. Joining the company in September, following a stint
at Paramount Home Entertainment UK, he
will be based in London and will report to Pete Kalhan, the SVP of home
entertainment and archive sales.

Charlotte Richards has
been appointed to the newly created position of product development manager,
home entertainment and archive sales. Richards will be responsible for managing
DVD production and the development of DVD extras and graphics. She will also
research and evaluate new product opportunities, working with FremantleMedia’s
acquisitions and programming team. Richards will be based in London and reports
to Kalhan.

Wayne Lovell has been appointed to the position of sales
executive, archive sales. He joins the company from ITN Archive Sales.
