FremantleMedia Scores New Broadcast Deals for Falcon Beach

LONDON, April 11: FremantleMedia Enterprises has secured a
new round of international broadcast deals for its teen drama Falcon Beach, which has now been licensed to 115 territories
worldwide.

Falcon Beach has
recently been licensed to Asian broadcasters such as the pan-regional Star TV,
Onmedia in Korea and VTV in Vietnam. In Europe, the series has been acquired by
RTL TVI for French-speaking Belgium, Cosmopolitan TV in Spain and Andorra, TV
Plus in Poland, Slovak TV in Slovakia, UMDB in the Ukraine and Sigma in Cyprus.
In addition, MBC in the Middle East and Corporacion TV in Venezuela join the
other major markets already on board.

Produced by Insight Productions and Original Pictures, in
conjunction with Global Television and ABC Family, Falcon Beach tells the story of the lives and loves of a group of
young men and women in a waterfront beach town. In the second season, there is
more glamour, more tension and more conflict among the wealthy summer cottagers
and the townies, when a major waterfront development threatens to tear lives
and loves apart. Last summer, the series was one of the highest-rated shows on
ABC Family, attracting an audience of 1.1 million viewers to its premiere
episode.

David Ellender, FremantleMedia Enterprises’ CEO, commented:
“Now a year on, the global reach of Falcon Beach continues to grow and impress. Its high production values, talented
cast and sophisticated scripting have combined to enable us to make it an
unparalleled worldwide success in terms of drama programming. Moving forward we
hope to duplicate the success of Falcon Beach with other key dramas within our catalogue.”
