FremantleMedia Promotes Executives for Asia Pacific

LONDON/SYDNEY/SINGAPORE, July 9: FremantleMedia
Enterprises (FME) has announced the promotions of three executives for its
operations in the Asia-Pacific region, including that of Paul Ridley to senior
VP of sales.

Ridley was promoted from his
current role as VP of sales. Based in FME’s Sydney office, he will be
responsible for television distribution across the region and will report to
David Ellender, the CEO of FME.

Ganesh Rajaram, currently the
sales director in Asia, has also been elevated to the newly created position of
VP of sales in Asia. He will continue to be based in FME’s Singapore office,
reporting to Ridley.

For FME’s ancillary rights
business, Jon Penn has been promoted to the senior VP of licensing in Asia
Pacific. Penn will continue to be based in Sydney and report to
Ellender. In this position, he will oversee the exploitation of FME’s brands
off screen and will be responsible for developing product and promotional
associations that enhance and extend consumers’ experience of each property.
These include brand licensing, music publishing, participation TV, online and
interactive, sponsorship, live events and telephony across the Asia Pacific.
