FremantleMedia Names Danish CEO

LONDON: Morten Mogensen has been named CEO of Blu, FremantleMedia’s Danish production arm.

Mogensen will be responsible for the development and production operations in Denmark, as well as for developing existing and new strategic relationships with both broadcast and non-broadcast partners in the Danish market. Mogensen will be based in Copenhagen, reporting directly to Simon Spalding, the regional CEO for Europe and Asia Pacific at FremantleMedia.

Prior to his appointment, Mogensen spent four years as programming director at TV3 in Denmark and was head of programming in the entertainment division at TV3. Mogensen has also served as the head of editorial for Metronome.

Spalding said: “We are delighted that Morten is taking on the role of CEO of Blu. Morten brings with him extensive experience and expertise in the Danish television industry, and his knowledge and skills make him the ideal candidate to lead the strong and creative team in Denmark and drive Blu’s operations successfully into the future.”
