FremantleMedia Expands into Theatrical Arena

LONDON, November 3: Fremantle Home Entertainment has entered
into a joint venture with the British film distributor Verve Pictures for the
feature film Mischief Night, which was
released across the U.K. today.

The agreement grants both parties all rights, excluding free
TV, for the U.K., including DVD and digital distribution. The theatrical
release will be followed with the DVD rollout in March.

From award-winning filmmaker Penny Woolcock (The

to ‘Mischief Night’, Yorkshire’s own variation of Halloween. Executive produced
by Charles Pattinson and George Faber, the duo behind Shameless, Mischief Night follows the story of single mother Tina Crabtree, who lives on the
‘White’ side of the park in Beeston, Leeds, and her relationship with Immie Khan,
