France 24 Extends International Reach

PARIS, November 7: The 24-hour French international news
channel France 24 has expanded its distribution by inking new carriage
agreements with operators across Europe.

In Eastern Europe, France 24 has finalized ten distribution
agreements via cable and MMDS to extend its reach within Russia, Ukraine and Moldavia.
The channel is already available in Russia through the Northern-Eastern Telecom
and DMUP networks.

TNT in Mauritius is bringing the channel to about 100,000
households. Other recently signed agreements for the channel include carriage
on Telekom Austria, and in Portugal with the digital cable platform Cabovisao
and Portugal Telecom’s meo IPTV service. In Morocco, an Arabic-language version
of the channel will be available on Maroc Telecom’s IPTV platform, while
Turkish DTH platform D-Smart and Malta’s digital service Melita Cable will also
carry France 24.

France 24’s content reaches households in Europe, the Middle
East, Africa and the U.S., broadcasting in French, English and Arabic.
