FOX Unveils Midseason Schedule

LOS ANGELES, November 10:
FOX has announced the premiere dates of new and returning series for its
midseason lineup, including the kick off of the eighth season of American Idol with a two-night,
four-hour event.

24 also
returns to FOX with a two-night event, which launches on January 11. The new
season of American Idol will debut on
January 13. The medical drama House
moves to Mondays on January 19.

The new J.J. Abrams drama Fringe will air in its regular time
period on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. starting January 20. From the producers of 24 comes Lie to Me, which will make its series debut on January 21.

Bones moves
to Thursdays beginning January 15, followed by all-new episodes of Kitchen Nightmares. On January 29, chef
Gordon Ramsay returns for a fifth season of Hell's
Kitchen
.

On February 13 Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will
return at 8 p.m., followed at 9 p.m. by the premiere of the Joss Whedon's new series Dollhouse.

FOX's Saturday lineup will
continue to feature Cops and America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back in
their regular time periods. MADtv and
Talkshow with Spike Feresten also
return with a mix of encore and original episodes.

Hole in the Wall re-joins FOX's Sunday schedule on January 18. Also featured in the
Sunday night lineup are The Simpsons,
King of the Hill, Family Guy and American Dad.

Prison Break and 'Til Death are set to
return to FOX at a later date.
