Fox Shooting Two Pilots in Chile

LOS ANGELES, June 18: Fox
Television Studios has just wrapped production in Chile for the pilot for Family
Trust
, and is now in the works on
a new pilot for Family Dance-Off.

Family Trust was co-created by Matt Gaven and Tom Brunelle,
with Gaven also serving as the executive producer. The format was produced in
collaboration with Chilean-based EFE3 (Efetres), co-owned by actor Cristian de
la Fuente (In Plain Slight, Dancing
with the Stars
) and executive
producer Rodrigo Flores. Both English- and Spanish-language versions of the
show were shot in Chile, with Greg Fitzsimmons (The Ellen DeGeneres Show) hosting the English-language version, and José
Miguel (Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?) hosting the Spanish version.

Fox is now prepping pilot
production for Family Dance-Off,
which will also be produced in Chile with EFE3.

Both formats garnered
interest from Chilean broadcaster Mega, which is close to finalizing deals to
air both shows. Fox is also looking to shop the pilots to U.S. networks.
