FOX Renews Hell’s Kitchen, Orders Ramsay Special

LOS ANGELES: ITV Studios’ Hell’s Kitchen has been picked up for a seventh and eighth season by FOX, which is also set to air the live one-hour special Gordon Ramsay: Cookalong Live.

Hell’s Kitchen, which is currently airing on FOX Tuesdays in prime time, watches as Ramsay puts aspiring cooks through a rigorous culinary boot camp. In the live special Gordon Ramsay: Cookalong Live, the celebrity chef will give viewers a one-on-one cooking lesson with real-time demonstration and step-by-step instructions on how to cook a three-course meal in just one hour. The special will air on FOX on December 15 at 9 p.m.

ITV Studios’ president and CEO, Paul Buccieri, commented, “This two-season pick-up by FOX is wonderful news and reflects the network’s ongoing support of Hell’s Kitchen, the dedication of our production team and, of course, the singular talents of our friend and host Gordon Ramsay.”

"Gordon Ramsay is one of the most sought-after culinary experts in the world and one of the most compelling personalities on television," said Mike Darnell, the president of alternative entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company. "We’re really excited not only to welcome Gordon back for another season of Hell’s Kitchen, but also to give everyone in America the opportunity to experience Gordon firsthand and live with Cookalong Live."
