Fox LOOK Gears Up for Singapore Outing

LOS ANGELES: Damien Porte is heading up Fox LOOK’s push into the Asian markets, as the company heads to ATF with a catalogue that includes the game shows Big Family Game Night and Pictureka!.

Porte was recently appointed sales executive for a slate of Asian territories, including Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Indonesia. Also heading to ATF are Fox LOOK president David Lyle and Brendan Zauner, the VP of sales for Asia at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.

Porte said: “In the run-up to ATF, programming managers from across Asia, particularly China, have been showing keen interest in Big Family Game Night and Pictureka!, two live-action family game shows that recently launched in the U.S. Big Family Game Night debuted in October on The Hub, where it as already become the channel’s most-watched show.”

Fox LOOK has an exclusive deal with Hasbro Studios for the international distribution of unscripted TV content based on the company’s brands. For ATF, Fox LOOK is highlighting Big Family Game Night and Pictureka!.

Along with sales from the Fox LOOK slate, Porte will also be looking to secure partnerships at ATF. He said: “In addition to selling Fox LOOK’s feel-good formats, many of which are perfectly suited to the Asia’s family-focused culture, I am also looking for local partners to create additional synergies for our properties. I’m confident that, with the terrific team that has been put in place, we are set to become a format leader across Asia and beyond.”
