Fox L&M Unveils How I Met Your Mother-Inspired Handbook

LOS ANGELES: Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising has teamed with Simon and Schuster to release Bro on the Goa portable handbook of advice and commentary based on an episode of the CBS hit comedy How I Met Your Mother.

“The Code,” according to the show, has been handed down generations by the family of ultimate “bro” Barney Stinson, played by Neil Patrick Harris. Written in the voice of Stinson by How I Met Your Mother writer Matt Kuhn, Bro on the Go provides reflective wisdom and inspirational thoughts on issues a bro faces in his day-to-day life. With new rules and observations coupled with classics from the original Code, Bro on the Go is broken down into sections on "A Bro at the Gym," "A Bro in His Pad," "A Bro at the Game," "A Bro at the Beach," "A Bro at the Bar" and other scenarios.

The publication of Bro on the Go coincides with the fifth season of How I Met Your Mother, which airs on CBS Monday nights at 8 p.m.
