Fox International Channels, Ernesto Sandler Launch New Venture

LOS ANGELES/BUENOS AIRES,
January 4: Fox International Channels has partnered with Ernesto Sandler, the
founder of the cable channel Utilísima, for a new company dedicated to the
production of Spanish-language content.

As part of the alliance,
Sandler will serve as president and CEO of Fox Toma 1, based in Buenos Aires.
In addition, Utilísima, available in 8 million homes in Latin America and the
U.S. and targeting women and families, is expected to become part of Fox
International Channels in the first quarter of this year.

Fox Toma 1 will produce
unscripted shows to be aired mainly on the Latin American cable channels
Utilísima, Fox Life, FX, Fox and Speed Channel. The transaction increases Fox’s
production capabilities in the Spanish language to over 2,000 hours per year.

Fox International Channels,
a unit of Fox Entertainment Group, broadcasts over 58 television services in 29
languages.
