Former Discovery, Fuse Exec Joins BBC Worldwide Channels

NEW YORK/MIAMI: Dan Salerno is joining BBC Worldwide Channels to serve as VP of programming for Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market, where his remit includes BBC Entertainment and CBeebies.

Salerno will be responsible for leading strategic programming efforts for the two channels, include strategy, scheduling and production. From the Miami office, he reports to Jessica Rodriguez, senior VP and general manager of BBC Worldwide Latin America and U.S. Hispanic.

He was most recently senior VP of programming, production and development for Fuse. He previously spent almost 20 years at Discovery Communications, working on Military Channel, Discovery Home Channel and Discovery en Español, among others.
