Fireworks Bolsters Nonfiction Department

LONDON, October 2: Robert
Kennedy has joined Fireworks International from Alfred Haber Distribution to
serve as the newly created executive VP of nonfiction programming.

In this position,
effective October 8, Kennedy will oversee the company’s nonfiction-programming
activities, including sourcing, developing and maximizing sales. The
Toronto-based nonfiction division of Fireworks will report to him.

Greg Phillips, the president of Fireworks International, said: “This is a key
appointment for Fireworks International. Bob’s hiring marks the start of a very
significant growth phase for our non-fiction division, which already boasts a
substantial library of product from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation,
Fireworks and Allumination libraries. As a highly respected media executive and
