NEW YORK: Verizon FiOS has added Television Dominicana, Supercanal and VeneMovies to its slate, bringing the number of Spanish-language networks it carries up to 34.

"We’re excited to be able to add three more Spanish-language channels to our growing FiOS TV lineup," said Terry Denson, VP of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon. "This latest enhancement to our multicultural offering means even more programming for our Spanish-speaking customers in their native language."

All three are already available in Texas, California, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Philadelphia, and will be in all FiOS TV markets by the end of the month. Television Dominicana carries content from the Dominican Republic; Supercanal offers Dominican and pan-Caribbean programming, including sports, news, politics, comedy, live music, special events and family content; and VeneMovies is a 24-hour, commercial-free, Spanish-language film channel.
