FilmBox Channels Join UPC in Poland

WARSAW: The FilmBox, FilmBox Extra, FilmBox Family and FilmBox HD channels are to join UPC in Poland on August 2.

FilmBox, which is a Hollywood-style channel that features more than 400 movie titles, will be available in HD Max Package. UPC proposal will also include a new, previously unavailable package with the main FilmBox channel and FilmBox Premium channels: FilmBox Extra, which presents films before their debut on terrestrial TV; FilmBox Family, providing classic entertainment for the whole family and FilmBox HD, offering blockbuster movies in high definition.

"Cooperation with UPC, the largest network cable in Poland, cannot be overestimated," said Piotr Reisch, the CEO of SPI International Poland, which owns the family FilmBox channels. "We are planning further investment. Soon, our offer will be supplemented with other channels: FightBox HD, FilmBox Action HD and HD FashionBox."
