Famous Five Heads to Disney Channel

PARIS, January 16: The first episodes of Marathon Media’s Famous
Five On The Case, a 26×26-minute series
based on the classic books by Enid Blyton, have been delivered to Disney
Channel Europe.

The Marathon Media/Chorion (U.K.)/Disney Europe/France 3
co-production ranked as the second most-watched series at MIPCOM Jr. 2007, and
has already been sold to Super RTL in Germany, Belgium’s RTBF, Disney Asia and
Australia, the Netherlands’ Jetix, Disney France, Disney Europe, Disney Africa,
Disney Middle-East and LNK (Lithuania). Additional sales are still under way
with major European broadcasters.

Famous Five On The Case centers
on cousins Jo, Max, Dylan Allie and their faithful dog Timmy. Together, the
five explore the great outdoors, using their wit and ingenuity to solve crimes,
with plenty of excitement and slapstick comedy along the way.
