Expedition Impossible Heads to Asia

HONG KONG: Tiger Gate Entertainment’s KIX channel has secured the exclusive TV rights for Asia to Mark Burnett’s action-reality series Expedition Impossible.

The 24-hour pay-TV channel will air Expedition Impossible from October 12 every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. in Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines and 10 p.m. in Jakarta. From the producers of Survivor and The Apprentice, the series features teams of three solving complex puzzles while racing across deserts, over mountains and through rivers. Only one team will cross the finish line to claim victory. Each winning team member will receive $50,000 as well a new Ford Explorer. Hosted by renowned animal trainer Dave Salmoni, first season of Expedition Impossible is set in Morocco.
