Executive Producers of ABC’s Lost to Speak at Promax/BDA

LOS ANGELES, June 8: Damon
Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, the executive producers and writers behind the hit
ABC series Lost, will speak at
the 52nd annual North American Promax/BDA Conference, which will be
held June 12-14, at the Hilton New York hotel.

Lindelof—who also
co-created the series along with J.J. Abrams—and Cuse will host a session
called “Living the Lost Life”
on Wednesday June 13, at 10 a.m. The two join an already-announced roster that
includes legendary filmmaker John Waters and fashion designer Kenneth Cole.

Lindelhof and Cuse will
share their experience in creating a franchised brand, address their challenges
in maintaining the longevity of their product, walk participants through their
creative process, and provide their own unique perspective on the audience’s
evolving viewing habits. Lost has
just wrapped up its third season and continues to confound the expectations of
viewers and network executives alike with its multi-layered story lines and
ever-deepening mysteries.

"Lost is certainly a television phenomenon,” said Lee
Hunt, Promax/BDA’s interim managing director. “From storyline to packaging to
marketing and everything in between, this really makes for a dynamic case
study. But there is more to it than the obvious, face-value success. This
session’s attendees can look forward to a candid and humble look at the strategy,
risks and lessons learned in creating one of TV’s biggest primetime hits."
