Erik Barmack Set for MIP Cancun Keynote

Erik Barmack, formerly head of international originals at Netflix and now founder and CEO of Wild Sheep Content, will be interviewed by World Screen‘s Anna Carugati during a keynote session at MIP Cancun this week.

Following a brief presentation, Barmack will sit down with World Screen’s group editorial director to talk about identifying local content that has global appeal, helping creatives craft episodic stories and working with linear and digital platforms.

Barmack, who brought to Netflix series such as La casa de papel (Money Heist) and Elite from Spain, Dark from Germany and Club de Cuervos from Mexico, will also talk about Wild Sheep Content’s upcoming slate, including projects in the works with producers in Spain, Brazil, India and Holland.

The keynote session will take place on Wednesday, November 20, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. in the Cancun Theater of the Moon Palace Resort.
