English & Pockett Expands into Asia-Pacific

SINGAPORE,
July 13: London-based brand agency English & Pockett (E&P) has
opened its first regional office outside of the U.K. in Singapore, with Debbie
Lee tapped to head up the Asia-Pacific operations as business development
director.

The move is aimed to better serve the market in the Asia Pacific.
Lee was formerly the VP of sales and marketing at the Asian Food Channel. In
this newly created role, Lee will report to Richard Wallman, the managing
director of E&P, who is based in the U.K. She will be involved in the
launch and day-to-day operations for E&P’s newly setup Singapore office,
develop new business opportunities and grow existing client relationships
across the Asia Pacific. Lee will also be activating strategies to drive the
agency’s business and company profile via various prongs that include
marketing, business development and public relations.

“Asia has been and will continue to be an important market
for us with Asia-based clients like Thailand’s TrueVisions, BBC Global
Channels, Discovery and Channel NewsAsia,” Wallman said. “Our recent wins at
2007 BDA World Gold Awards competition has reinforced our conviction and
confidence in this region.”
